Many offer high-definition digital copies that can usually be downloaded by an expiration date. Some movies and programs will also offer extended or limited editions with new scenes not shown in theatres or longer versions of scenes you remember, deleted scenes, and behind-the-scenes features. Some titles even offer hours of bonus materials on how things were created or filmed, actor interviews, and featurettes about the presentation's music, effects, locations, and more. The packaging and special features of each product vary.

How do you clean 3D DVDs and Blu-rays?

Discs with dust, dirt, and fingerprints should be cleaned periodically to protect their performance.

Gently using warm water over the disc to remove surface dirt is a good place to start. Be sure to dry the disc with a cleaning cloth approved for use on eyeglasses.

For very stubborn stains, gently use your finger, not your nail, to try and remove them while washing. Liquid soaps can be added to the water for difficult deposits or rubbing alcohol can be used instead of soap and water.

When rubbing or wiping a disc, start in the center and work your way outward to prevent scratches. In this instance, shake off excess water and allow to air dry.
