New Balance 991 Differences.

The New Balance 991's have a slightly different fit from the American made 990's. More specifically, the toe box is lower and the shoe is very slightly narrower. If you took advantage to the opportunity New Balance offered several years ago to design your own 990, the fit is very similar to those shoes. That's just something to be aware of before you buy your first pair of 991's. As to the construction, the shoes seem equally as well made as the 990's and buying the shoes on EBAY can give you access to shoes not currently on the New Balance web site.
